“Mirage River / Magic Riover” began as an experimental piece. I loved the first darker brown mountainous part so much I didn’t want to “ruin it” until I was sure of what I would add to it. After hanging in my studio for a few months I finally “saw it” – a river scene I stopped to photograph while driving home from visiting my daughter several years ago. The shallow water, the rippling sand, vegetation, and mountains in the background… so fun!
Single layer, colored burns and framed in a simple wood frame stained to accent the art.
