Creating the illusion of depth has always intrigued me whether I was working with a pencil or paint. Applying those skills using gunpowder as my art medium has been a wonderfully fun challenge. Creating hard lines, soft lines that “desappear” (where I what them to) texures, color conbinations, organic and inorganic lines…
Come join my at Art Focus for the opening reception and or one of the demos to see how I explode gunpowder and create line and form.

The highest bidder and a guest will each get to create a piece of gunpowder art following the auction: Practice techniques of exploding gunpowder and fireworks to burn paper, then design and burn your own piece of art.

An Experience – 2 hours of studio time for highest bidder to create their own gunpowder art piece. I’ll be doing gunpowder art demos on the street in front of Art Focus during the June Culture Crawl, in Hamilton, MT.

June 9, 5-8pm  Demos will be done 3-4 times during that time.
