- Throwing basics for bowl-vase-mug shapes
- Clay prep, wheel and tools setup
- Demo of trimming and glazing to see the next steps of completing pottery
- Cost: $80/ person
- All clay and tools included
- Class size: min 3, max 6
Option: To finish your pot(s) or not?
Trimming and glazing add on option: 2 sessions; apx 1.5 hr. trimming and 2 hrs glazing.

KJ offers beginning wheel workshops appropriately titled “play with clay” – as she says “Trying something new should be fun!” Her teaching style is based on learning to feeling how and why the clay is taking a particular shape as the wheel turns. This helps you build the skills and understanding to bring your own ideas to life.
Her instructional knowledge comes from 40+ years of teaching a wide variety of artistic and movement oriented skills (from drawing to graphic design and showboarding.)
